Cubana Chief Priest Biography: Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, better known by his stage name Cubana Priest, is a renowned Nigerian bartender, show promoter and businessman. He was born on April 2, 1981 in Umufu Okabia, Imo State. He studied shoemaking at the Federal University of Technology, Nekede, Owerri, where he earned his first million naira. He then moved into the entertainment industry. He is currently a PhD student in Natural Sciences at the European American University, specializing in Events and Luxury Management.
During his career, he held positions such as General Manager of Cubana Group before deciding to open his own club, Club Shrine, in Owerri. Even Davido had already been to the club.

In April 2022, popular Instagram star Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
PREMIUM TIMES reported on Sunday how EFCC operatives arrested Okechukwu at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.
According to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity as he is not authorised to speak publicly on the matter, Okechukwu was arrested at the airport as he was about to board a flight to Owerri, the Imo State capital.
“A popular Instagram star known as Cubana Chief Priest has been detained in Abuja. “He was arrested in Abuja on Wednesday on his way to Owerri,” a source told reporters.
The celebrity was last seen in public last Tuesday when he was caught on camera during a FIFA World Cup qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Many of his fans, who were unaware of his arrest, were concerned about his whereabouts after he remained silent on Instagram for days.
Fans’ concerns over his whereabouts were heightened when he did not respond to birthday wishes that flooded his Instagram page on Saturday.
The 41-year-old socialite’s quiet birthday on Saturday is in stark contrast to last year, when he gifted his followers on Instagram with one million naira and celebrated with a lavish birthday party attended by several celebrities.
Sources told this newspaper that Okechukwu was on Tuesday being tailed and monitored by a team of EFCC detectives at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
“Our officers led by the investigator in charge of the matter deployed a team to the National Stadium, Abuja where he was with his friends. His activities were being closely monitored.
“We received information that Mr Cubana’s Chief priest was flying out of the FCT after a football match. We went to pick him up at the airport there,” one of the sources said.
Sources told reporters that investigators are seeking a warrant from the commission to detain Okechukwu.
This newspaper learnt that Okechukwu was arrested for allegedly refusing several invitations from the EFCC.
“We have sought an arrest warrant to detain him (Cubana Chief Priest) because he has not responded to our invitations.
“We are going to keep him here to avoid him tampering with evidence. He can also answer some questions on the evidence we have against him,” the source added.
