The Deputy General Overseer of the VLBC, Pastor Adeoye Adeyanju, announced the heartbreaking news during a Sunday service in Abeokuta. He said: “At this point, I would like to inform VLBC members, all people, and friends that our mother, Pastor Fola Achudume, went to be with the Lord yesterday morning. She would have been 56 years old on the 6th of September.
A family friend and spokesman for the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Mr Tunde Oladunjoy also confirmed her death, describing it as the worst news of the year. Expressing deep sorrow, he said: “It is unbelievable! So sad! My comfort is that she has gone to the saints.”
